Wessex Networks have sponsored two computers and also provided IT support at the museum to facilitate the installation of software upgrades and a new computer network. These improvements have greatly helped in reducing the bottleneck with competing users for the office computer and will help with managing the new resource room and help support the volunteer initiative led by the newly appointed Museum Trustee to computerise the museum inventory. Simply put we just couldn’t survive without computers says Paula, winning such a fantastic prize from a local company is absolutely amazing especially when we realised what was included . The prize allows Taxave to tap into a formidable range of services including unlimited telephone, remote and on site support. In addition they will benefit from regular health checks, automatic system monitoring and recommendations for hardware and software to bring greater levels of efficiency into their business.
