• MySQL MySQL is an open-source database powering millions of websites. Apache and MySQL often come together. All hosting accounts have access MySQL databases.
• PHP One of the most popular scripting languages on the internet, it required to make your website dynamic, or "active". All hosting accounts have PHP version 5 available.
• FTP / SSH Access Conventional FTP access will be provided to your hosting account as well as Secure Shell (SSH) access if you find using linux commands advantageous.

dedicated hosting

If your website is particularly large, your data is sensitive, or you need extrememly high performance you might like to consider commissioning a dedicated server. As the name suggests, a dedicated server is at your complete disposal for whatever task you decide and has added security and performance benefits over more traditional shared resources.
